Inte brutalt annorlunda, men en ny logga och troligen även nytt typsnitt. Ni kommer att känna igen er, men ändå inte.

Det är dock inte säkert att jag hinner med det i natt, utan det kan eventuellt få skjutas upp till senare, beroende på hur uppgraderingen går - jag kommer att prioritera uppgraderingen till UTF-8, och om jag orkar med något annat när det är klart gör jag det innan jag går och lägger mig.

Så här kommer det gå till. Runt midnatt (kan bli senare, men troligen inte tidigare) kommer jag stänga av hela servern, för att kunna ta en snapshot av hela disken med serverleverantörens verktyg. Därefter kommer jag slå på servern men låta sajten vara avstängd, och göra säkerhetskopior av databas och filer. På så sätt har jag dubbla chanser att snabbt få tillbaka allt, om något skulle gå åt skogen med uppgraderingen.

Det gissar jag kommer ta någonstans mellan 10 och 30 minuter - därefter kommer jag att slå på forumet igen, och kommer sedan att påbörja uppgradering av databasen till UTF-8. Under den tiden kommer forumet att fungera, men lär vara segt då servern kommer jobba hårt med att byta ut alla tecken mot UTF-8 - att gå igenom texten i varenda recension (och bl.a. byta ut alla ÅÄÖ) lär inte gå på nolltid, trots att ett skript sköter arbetet så att jag inte behöver göra det manuellt. Det rör sig trots allt om över 1 GB i ren text som ska gås igenom.

Det sista steget är att uppgradera alla sidor och skript från Latin1 till UTF-8, vilket innebär alla creditlistor, alla rena sidor och dylikt; vilket också lär ta ett tag.

Det är väldigt svårt att tidsberäkna allt det här, så det kan röra sig om allt från en halvtimme till sex timmar. Om det inte blir för sent så att jag orkar något mer när arbetet är klart, och inga problem har uppstått, så kommer jag därefter att förändra designen. Blir det för sent, så att jag måste lägga mig direkt efteråt, så kommer de visuella förändringarna att ske en annan dag; troligtvis imorgon.

You're absolutely right, thanks for noticing. For the credit list, I just copied the Dub Cards on Disney+, without reflecting on anything, and they have credited him as Niels Ole Oftebro. Obviously that's an incorrect spelling, I'll correct it immediately.
På Disney+ har Helge Lindemann crediterats som "Musikalsk konsulent" - jag förmodar att det innebär Musikalisk ledning på svenska (även fast det låter mer som konsult), så det innebär väl i princip samma sak som sångregissör.

Just checked again, Nils's name is spelled Niels Ole Oftebro on your database which is a typo.

Thank you, I will correct it immediately. The problem is that the letter N on my keyboard is a bit bad and doesn't always show up - so I probably typed it correctly, but it didn't show up.

Just a quick correction for the Norwegian page for The Little Mermaid. The film's title in Norwegian is Den Lille Havfruen. You listed the Danish title Den Lille Havfrue instead.

You are correct, the merchant himself, does not appear in the series. However, the recording of "Arabian Nights" from The Return of Jafar was reused as the intro for the series. I don't know about Icelandic, but that was the case for the English version.

Stefán Karl also voiced a character in the Icelandic dub of Ice Age. However it doesn't specify which character he voiced as he's listed as "additional voices."

Den enda anhöriga det i så fall skulle ha kunnat vara är väl Susan McCabe som är dotter till Ruth Langer. Både jag och @Daniel Hofverberg har haft en del mailkontakt med henne, men jag minns inte om hon i något mail nämnde vilken roll hennes mamma spelade.

I can also confirm this. I contacted Susan a few months ago and she said that she didn't know who her mother voiced. She wants to hear the dub so she can hear her mother's voice again and she can confirm who her mother voiced.

I saw it, but the other source from the newspaper VG could not be read as it seemed to require a subscription; so I don't know what it says. And the first newspaper source only listed votes by group. But the pictures on Discogs state that the mother is played by Unni Evjen, just like the post in the Facebook group.

So the question is which of the information is correct...?

And is there any source other than Discogs on techniques? There, it is difficult to know if the specified techniques apply to the film dubbing and/or to the re-recording of the narration for the disc (which I assume exists, even if I have not heard the Norwegian LP disc).

The VG newspaper requires to be at the Norwegian library to read it. The alternative is to be in Norway and request a copy of the article in question and they will provide it to you. VPN will not work unfortunately.

I looked up the source earlier today at The National Library of Sweden.

Dubbningshemsidan says Ivar Wahlgren is responsible for both speaking and singing for Tony. Is Carl-Erik Thambert the singing voice and Ivar Wahlgren is the speaking voice ?

A correction on that, I only added video to those clips and synced them to the (hideous) Blu-ray. I did not digitize them myself. The person who originally digitized those clips is 1980smannen (dubbnings_proffsen on Dubbningshemsidan.)
